Last September, I hosted a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish foundation in Long Island's Wantagh Park. The highlight was the annual pig roast. They use this technique of putting the spread out pig in a wooden box. As the two man cooking crew arrived at sunrise, they began digging a pit. The box is then placed in the pit, surrounded by coals. But, a freaked out park employee called police, thinking the cooks were burying a body. Minutes later, they were surrounded by cops, who ended up laughing their way back into their patrol cars after learning the only body in the box was a dead pig.
